Different voices matter.
The show is built around the belief that hearing somebody else’s point of view can change how we understand our own.
THE OFFICIAL PODCAST / ABOUT THE SHOW
A PODCAST BUILT ON PERSPECTIVEThat's Just Life's Way: The Official Podcast is a conversational podcast created and hosted by Tom, bringing together different voices, experiences and opinions to explore the one thing we all have in common: life itself.
Different perspectives on this thing we call life.
01 / WHAT THE PODCAST IS ABOUT
Every person has a story. Every experience creates a perspective, and every perspective offers us an opportunity to understand something we may never have considered before.
From personal challenges and mental health to creativity, relationships, social issues and the realities of the modern world, the podcast aims to encourage conversations that are honest, thought-provoking and, above all, human.
It's not about finding the perfect answer or convincing everybody to agree. It's about recognising that there can be more than one way to understand the world around us.
The show is built around the belief that hearing somebody else’s point of view can change how we understand our own.
Some episodes will be light and entertaining. Others may be reflective, challenging or deeply personal. The goal is always to listen and understand.
No matter the topic, the podcast always returns to the same idea: how people experience life, process it and make sense of it.
02 / WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
The story behind That's Just Life's Way began years before the first episode took shape.
Tom's creative journey began around 2011 on YouNow, where he spent approximately 15 years developing and hosting a wide range of live, creative projects.
In 2024, Tom explored podcasting with his friend Ryan, discovering how conversation could create a different kind of connection with an audience.
By 2026, Tom had moved from YouNow to TikTok, continuing to stream while thinking seriously about what the next stage of his creative life should look like.
During September 2026, the podcast started becoming a real plan. It was time to create something with purpose, perspective and room for meaningful conversation.
“In September 2026, I decided it was time to take my content to new levels.”— Tom
“I wanted to be a voice of reason, a voice of perspective and thought process.”— Tom
03 / THE PODCAST TAKES SHAPE
THE IDEA BEHIND THE PODCAST
The concept started with a simple but powerful thought: we all experience life differently. Two people can face similar circumstances and come away with completely different beliefs, emotions and interpretations.
Tom wanted to create a podcast where those differences became the conversation itself, rather than something to be dismissed.
THE ROLE OF GUESTS
What began as a platform for Tom’s own thoughts quickly grew into something broader. Aside from the opening episode, the show is designed around conversations with guests from different backgrounds and interests.
“I then thought about how it would be good to hear other feelings and thoughts.” — Tom
BUILDING SOMETHING NEW
Following its conception in September 2026, the podcast’s branding, episode concepts and production plans began to take shape, alongside a dedicated Discord community, website development and future guest-application plans.
WHAT LISTENERS CAN EXPECT
One episode may explore identity, confidence or anxiety. Another may focus on creative ambition, entertainment, livestreaming or social realities. The show values understanding over assumption and meaningful discussion over empty disagreement.
You don't have to agree with somebody to understand where they're coming from.
04 / LOOKING TOWARDS THE FUTURE
With its first season planned for 2027, That's Just Life's Way marks a new chapter in Tom’s creative journey. The opening episode introduces the person behind the podcast, before future episodes welcome guests and explore the experiences that shape how we understand life.
There will be stories to share, questions to ask, opinions to challenge and undoubtedly a few unexpected conversations along the way. But beneath everything is one belief: sometimes hearing another person's perspective can change how we understand our own.
This isn't a podcast promising to have all the answers. It's a podcast willing to ask the questions.
